The mask of Zanni was born in the second half of the fifteenth century as the poorest and most ignorant servant.
Sometimes, in fact, he is shrewd and cheats honest people, to satisfy the hunger that continually torments him. Sometimes, however, he is foolish and clumsy, and his job is to entertain the audience with jokes and acrobatics.
Handmade by a selected artisan in Venice, using the traditional Muranese techniques.
